At Ste-Agathe des Monts Hospital on May 31, in her ninety-second year. Predeceased by her husband Kazimierz (Kazik). Anni was born in Copenhagen, Denmark on August 9, 1916. She resided in England from 1939 until 1957 when the family immigrated to Canada. Anni is a recipient of The Memory Medal for the Liberation (of Denmark) in May 1945 "for her highly appreciated service speaking in Danish in the daily broadcasts from the B.B.C. in London to occupied Denmark during the dark years, 1940 - 1945." Anni is survived by her daughter Hella and her son-in-law Richard Bertrand, her son Richard and her daughter-in-law Janet Zarudzki, and her daughter Julia Zarudzka. She will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren Michael Zarudzki and Paul and Rebecca Bertrand. Anni had wonderful, close friends who provided her with a lifetime of memorable moments. Sincere thanks to all the doctors and staff of the palliative care unit of the Ste-Agathe Hospital for their compassion and care.
